All payments made are directly to the developer and will be bank guaranteed. Properties can be reserved with a deposit of £3,000. Payment is normally, 10% within one month, another 20% within two months and the rest staged from 12 months until completion.Title deeds will be transferred to the purchaser as soon as they are issued by the Land Registry; the fee is a once only tax, between 3% and 8% of the property value.
Other costs include: Immovable Property Tax – based on property value, between 0.25% and 0.4%p.a. Community charges - apartment with communal pool and gardens average £500p.a.
The cost of living is low compared to many European destinations. Health care (public and private)is of a very high standard; private medical insurance for resident's costs around £170p.a.
